Oh course I’m happy to hand over our iPads to you.
Yes I understand you are a total stranger standing at the entrance to a bar and you are handing me a little slip of hand written paper with the number 24 on it, whilst taking my $10. And our iPads. Not a problem.
After all, why would TD Gardens, where the Boston Bruins ice hockey game is being held, allow iPads? Even though there are 18000 attendees, so potentially 1500 iPhones?
Of course I understand.
You are totally legit.
O’Sullivan’s Tap.
And with that wonderful thought, we headed to my first professional ice hockey game!
Woohoo!
I’m now the woohoo girl.
What a game people!
What an experience!
Loved every second and of course the Bruins won against the Ottawa Senators.
Home game.

Afterwards we went back to O’Sullivan’s Tap where they remembered me and handed me our iPads. Which were just sitting there on the shelf beside them. Right at the front door. Not in the locker downstairs they had promised for $10.

The relief was so great we had to stay for a drink.
MOD, who is so careful with his FB friends, met some new best friends who he immediately added to his Facebook!
Was it the euphoria of the game? Or the beer?
They are pretty awesome guys anyway. And they loved my annoying Aussie accent. Bonus!
After that we headed on down to Cheers.
Where everyone knew our name.

On the way we found the Massachusetts State House and Hookers entrance…..I didn’t go in.

And that, my friends, was my first day in Boston, Massachusetts.
Living the dream.
