If I wasn’t such a princess and didn’t believe this body only deserved to have a warm shower, regardless of the weather, I could have stood out in the shower and washed my bits in the rain this morning.
It rains a lot here. And heavily.
But in a very civilised way.
Like overnight.
Our yoga practice was a little hard to hear but we all pushed through and spent another three hours learning about the second (Sacral) Chakra, each other, and perhaps some of our limitations with some poses.
Post that, another all-you-can-eat breakfast.
Today the rest of our agenda included the group attending a water ceremony.
I was initially going to join them but then had some Australian business to attend to, with a phone call 1/2 hour after we were due to leave for the ceremony.
So I ditched the excursion to spend some ‘Me, Myself and I’ time.
From all accounts the water ceremony complete with waterfalls was amazing.
However, I had no regrets.
I sorted out the business end of things then headed up the road for a full on massage (minus my vocals) and a facial. For the princely and total sum of $36AUD.
The next big decision was what to do next.
Turned out there wasn’t a lot of sun today which meant I didn’t feel the need to head into the pool.
It has to be extremely hot and sunny for me to like a dip, so I spent the remainder of the afternoon enjoying the ambience of this beautiful paradise I find myself in.
Dinner was at the Indian restaurant, Mumbai Station just near our bungalow.
The photos below indicate the little journey from Mumbai Station (which sits on the ‘very busy road’), down the path to our bungalow. While we aren’t near the yoga space, pool or cafe, we think we hit the jackpot with our own little private garden and some very welcome peace and quiet. Not counting Gerry Gecko.

Dinner of course was absolutely delish ($32AUD all up for both of us).
At 7pm we headed back to our yoga space for restorative yoga.
A divine end to a lovely day.
P.S. You may be proud, or maybe a little grossed out, to hear that I am learning to master the little shower hose beside the toilet. Initially there may have been water all up the floor and on the seat (sorry Smithy) but I think I am getting it down to a fine art. My butt has never been so pristine.

Night peeps.
